I HAVE A STRANGE VISITOR

WORDS
Where:Robinson Crusoe for Children I HAVE A STRANGE VISITOR

Make a pile
Context:The things were not heavy, but they made a large pile.

Definition:make a mount of money ,but i don't think it means this in this context ,I think it
means take a large space

Look in one's face/eye
Context:She stood very firm and looked in my face.

Definition:look straight at their eyes in a bold and open way,for example in order to make
them realize that they are not afraid of them or that you are telling the truth
I stood my ground and looked her straight in the eye.

Get /become acquainted
Context:She looked as though she had a mind to get acquainted.

Definition:get to know someone
Then we'll go back to your cabin and get acquainted.

March
Context:But, with that, she turned and marched away.

Definition:walk to somewhere quickly and in a determined way ,for example because you are
angry .
She tured and marched back into the kitchen.

It is really interesting to consider the cat as a "strange visistor",and before sleeping ,he " laid two loaded pistols near its head, and one of the guns by one side of it.",from which we can see his vigilant.
