First of all, I completely agree with what you wrote about natural disasters. The news from China and Myammar is so sad. I hope the people who are close to you are safe.

I think the sentences you quoted in the first section ("Words 1") are from Robinson Crusoe. The sentences in the second section, however, seem to be from another source. Did you originally find the words in Robinson Crusoe? If so, I think it would be a good idea to keep a record of the sentences in which you first found each word. Of course, it's also a good idea to add other example sentences (for example, a sentences you find in a dictionaries).

Thank you !
Both the word 1 and word 2 are from from Robinson Crusoe.
The first secton is from the Chapter " I FIND A STRANGE LODGING PLACE" and the second section is from the Chapter"I VISIT THE WRECK"

I see. Sorry. That was my mistake. Are the example sentences in orange from a dictionary?

sai さんのコメント...

oh yes
I usually write the sentences that are from the contexts in black, and write these from a dictionary in the other color .
I'm sorry to make you puzzled.

Not at all. Thanks for the explanation.
